Dental Exams
Dental exams give us the opportunity to evaluate your current methods of dental care and provide suggestions for future care in order to protect you from complications such as cavities and gum disease. They also allow us to detect problems early so they can be fixed quickly and easily.
Dental cleaning
Our amazing hygienist will thoroughly clean and polish your teeth. She will remove surface stains, deposits, tartar and/or calculus, that are more difficult to remove than plaque and requires the assistance of a professional dental hygienist and specialized dental instruments. We will also check for signs of decay or gum disease.
Dental X-rays
These are taken to provide a more detailed summary of your oral health and to more closely identify any problems. X-rays allow Dr. Michelakis to diagnose decay and other issues between teeth, under the gums and in the roots of the teeth. We recommend the bitewing x-rays (the 4 “bite” x-rays) once a year.
